Therapist Relocation Consultancy

Thinking about relocating as a therapist — but unsure where to start?

Moving states or countries as a mental health professional can be exciting, but navigating differences in licensure, professional practice, systems, culture, employment and expectations can feel overwhelming.

As an LCSW with international experience working across the UK, France, Ireland and USA, I offer consultancy and practical guidance to mental health professionals considering a move in either direction.

I can support you with:

  • Understanding the key differences between UK/ European and US social work and therapy systems

  • Navigating the transition between professional environments

  • Preparing for the practical and professional challenges of relocating

  • Thinking through licensure and credentialing pathways

  • Understanding workplace culture and expectations

  • Translating your existing experience and qualifications to a new setting

  • Building confidence as you establish yourself professionally in a new country

You don't have to figure it all out alone.

Whether you're at the very beginning of exploring a move or already preparing to relocate, I can help you make sense of the process, draw on my own international experience, and approach the transition with greater clarity and confidence.

Practical guidance. International experience. A smoother transition.

Accelerated Resolution Consultancy

I provide specialist consultation for therapists and mental health professionals seeking to develop their knowledge, confidence, and clinical application of Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

I have several years of experience working with ART and have supported training alongside Amy Shuman, lead ART trainer, and Laney Rosenzweig, creator of ART. This experience has provided me with a strong understanding of both the ART training process and the clinical application of the approach across a range of presentations.

My particular areas of clinical expertise are working with children and young people and applying ART in the context of chronic illness. I offer case consultation for recently qualified ART practitioners who would value experienced clinical input when working with clients in these areas, including support with formulation, treatment planning, adapting ART appropriately, and navigating clinical complexities.

I also provide consultation for clinicians who are considering ART training or are at the beginning of their ART journey. This can include guidance on the training pathway, understanding the different training options available, and identifying and connecting with ART trainers whose experience and area of practice are aligned with your professional needs.

Consultation is individually tailored and grounded in clinical experience, with the aim of supporting practitioners to use ART thoughtfully, confidently, and effectively within their existing professional practice.

Whether you are exploring ART for the first time or are looking to strengthen your clinical practice following training, I offer informed, specialist consultation to support you at each stage of your development as an ART practitioner.
